About
An experienced practitioner of acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine for more than 30 years. Lily Feng draws on a comprehensive view of health from both Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is an accredited member of AACMA and an AHPRA registered acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist in Australia.
Lily Feng completed her Bachelor’s Degree of Medicine, majoring in Traditional Chinese Medicine in China in 1995. Following her graduation, she worked in clinic and lecturer of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
From 30 years working in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Lily has accumulated a rich working experience through work and learning from her fellow colleagues and senior mentors.
She studied Western Medicine in China and is a qualified Medical Doctor in China, which allows her to have a more comprehensive view of health from both worlds. In her view, Traditional Chinese Medicine offers a great deal of benefits to patients who seek either an alternative approach or assisting their treatment and recovery from conventional medicine.
Lily also completed a Master’s Degree of Public Health in the Netherlands, and believes that prevention and proactive treatments are better than reactive treatments. She believes that Traditional Chinese Medicine can play an important role in health prevention, by keeping us more in tune with physical and mental wellbeing, by keeping us connected with mother nature.
In addition, she has shared her experience by teaching and supervising students over the years and has worked at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital, in research of women’s health. She also mentors junior acupuncturists and contributes her knowledge and skills to acupuncture and Chinese Medicine development in Australia.
Most of all, Lily would like to communicate with patients, know their needs, try to understand each case, and work together with patients to achieve and maximise their health. Lily Feng looks forward to working with you to achieve and maximise your health.
